Payment Policy

This Payment Policy describes the payment practices of P&A Roofing Company LLC (“P&A Roofing Company,” “P&A Roofing,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Specific payment obligations for a roofing or construction project are governed by the customer's signed agreement with P&A Roofing Company.
Accepted Payment Methods
P&A Roofing Company currently accepts the following forms of payment:

Cashier's checks.
Acceptance of a particular form of payment may be subject to verification, processing requirements, or other reasonable restrictions. P&A Roofing Company does not accept payments through its public website.
Standard Project Deposit
Unless otherwise provided in the customer's signed agreement, P&A Roofing Company's standard payment structure requires a deposit of approximately 50% of the total project price before project materials are ordered. In certain circumstances, P&A Roofing Company may accept an initial payment of less than 50% at or around the time the agreement is signed. Acceptance of a smaller initial payment does not waive the customer's responsibility to pay the remaining amount required to bring the deposit to the required level before materials are ordered, unless P&A Roofing Company agrees otherwise in writing.
Material Ordering
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the required deposit must be received or otherwise satisfactorily arranged before P&A Roofing Company orders or commits project-specific materials. Once materials have been ordered, scheduled for delivery, delivered, placed into production, or otherwise committed to the customer's project, cancellation and refund rights are subject to the customer's signed agreement and P&A Roofing Company's Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Remaining Project Balance
Unless otherwise specified in the signed customer agreement, the remaining project balance is due in accordance with the payment schedule contained in that agreement. A partial payment, deposit, or acceptance of a payment by P&A Roofing Company does not modify the total amount owed under the signed agreement unless P&A Roofing Company agrees to the modification in writing.
Credit and Debit Card Payments
Credit and eligible debit card payments may be processed by an authorized P&A Roofing Company representative using P&A Roofing Company's approved third-party merchant payment processor. P&A Roofing Company currently utilizes Bank of America Merchant Services for card processing, including its Virtual Terminal or other approved payment-processing systems. P&A Roofing Company does not provide public online checkout through its website. When a card payment is authorized, the customer authorizes P&A Roofing Company to process the specific agreed-upon amount using the payment card provided for that transaction. P&A Roofing Company will not charge a payment card for an amount materially different from the amount authorized by the customer unless additional authorization has been obtained or the charge is otherwise permitted by the applicable agreement and law.
Card Information
Customers should never submit credit card numbers, debit card numbers, security codes, bank-account information, or other financial information through the P&A Roofing Company website, website contact form, notes field, email, or text message. Payment-card information provided for an authorized transaction is used for payment-processing purposes and is entered into an approved third-party merchant-processing system. P&A Roofing Company's public website does not collect or process payment-card information.
Card Processing Fees and Surcharges
Where permitted by applicable law, card-network rules, P&A Roofing Company's merchant agreement, and other applicable requirements, certain credit-card transactions may be subject to a disclosed processing fee or surcharge. Authorization
By providing payment information and authorizing a transaction, the customer represents that they are an authorized user of the payment method and authorize P&A Roofing Company to process the agreed payment. Where a cardholder is different from the individual who signed the roofing agreement, P&A Roofing Company may require additional authorization or verification before accepting payment.
Receipts
P&A Roofing Company may provide payment receipts electronically, by email, in printed form, or by another reasonable method. Customers should review payment receipts promptly and contact P&A Roofing Company if they believe an error has occurred.
Declined or Unsuccessful Payments
A payment is not considered completed until it has been successfully authorized and accepted. If a payment is declined, reversed, returned, stopped, or otherwise unsuccessful, the underlying payment obligation remains due. P&A Roofing Company may request an alternative form of payment before ordering materials, scheduling work, continuing work, or otherwise proceeding with the project where permitted under the signed agreement and applicable law.
Checks and Returned Payments
Checks are accepted subject to successful collection.
If a check is returned unpaid or payment is stopped, the underlying balance remains due. Any returned-payment charge will be imposed only when permitted by the customer's agreement and applicable law.

Refunds

No Modification of Contract
Making or accepting a payment does not independently modify the scope of work, contract price, warranties, project schedule, or other terms of the customer's signed agreement. Any modification to the underlying project agreement must be made in accordance with the requirements of that agreement and applicable law.

Refund & Cancellation Policy
P&A Roofing Company LLC (“P&A Roofing Company”) understands that circumstances may change after entering into a roofing or construction agreement. Refunds and cancellations are subject to the terms of the customer’s signed contract, applicable law, and the following policy.
Right to Cancel
When a transaction qualifies as a “home solicitation sale” under applicable Arizona law, the customer may have the right to cancel the agreement until midnight of the third business day following the date the agreement is signed. Any statutory cancellation rights available to the customer will be honored in accordance with applicable law. For contracts or transactions that do not qualify for a statutory cancellation period, cancellation rights will be governed by the terms of the customer’s signed agreement with P&A Roofing Company.
Cancellation Before Materials Are Ordered
If a cancellation is permitted under the applicable agreement or law and P&A Roofing Company has not yet ordered materials, any amounts eligible for refund will be returned to the customer in accordance with the terms of the signed agreement. When cancellation occurs during an applicable statutory cancellation period and the customer is legally entitled to a full refund, P&A Roofing Company will issue the refund as required by law.
Cancellation After Materials Have Been Ordered
Once materials have been ordered, placed into production, scheduled for delivery, delivered to the project location, or otherwise committed specifically to the customer’s project, the customer may be responsible for costs incurred by P&A Roofing Company. Subject to applicable law and the terms of the signed contract, the project's 50% down payment may become non-refundable after materials have been ordered or committed to the project. If the customer has paid the entire project price in advance and cancellation is permitted after materials have been ordered or committed, P&A Roofing Company may retain up to 50% of the total project price, with the remaining eligible balance refunded to the customer, subject to applicable law and the signed agreement.
Credit Card Refunds
Refunds for payments originally made by credit card will generally be credited back to the same card or payment account used for the original transaction. Any applicable payment-processing charges, cancellation charges, material costs, or other amounts withheld from a refund must be permitted by the customer’s signed agreement, applicable law, and the rules applicable to the payment method used.
Processing of Refunds
Approved refunds will be initiated by P&A Roofing Company within a reasonable period after the cancellation and refund amount have been confirmed. The time required for the refunded amount to appear in the customer’s account may vary depending on the customer’s financial institution or card issuer.
Contract Controls
